The Songstress of Magic
Cassandra, who is also referred to as Manhattan's "Songstress of Magic," exudes a unique sense of Old Hollywood glamour and a quirky sense of humor which can only be described as, “Magical!” At least that is how the New York Times Times described her. She's performed for celebrities, past presidents, and in countless homes and ballrooms throughout the New York City area. Having performed at impressive New York City establishments like The Cutting Room, Arlene’s Grocery, Tammany Hall, Carnegie Hall and even Lincoln Center, her stunningly crafted performances are nothing short of breathtaking.
Cassandra, born and raised in NYC, started performing at 8 years old and hasn’t looked back since. At 16 she began winning Opera competitions and then went on to study Opera and Musical Theater at two renowned institutions, Mannes School of Music, and Westminster Choir College. During her studies she also competed in and won the Miss Staten Island competition,where she went on to Miss New York America and won the Talent award for the evening. From there her love of performing continued as her career grew to include several off-Broadway shows, countless nights of lounge singing, and even Television and Film appearances.
Now, Cassandra's working repertoire regularly includes close up and sleight of hand magic at upscale events, and when she's onstage she uses her skills as a singer, actor and dancer to create a new style of visual magic that stimulates all the senses and makes for a visually and audibly thrilling show.
Additionally, Cassandra is a leading children's entertainer and has performed princess and magic parties throughout the Metropolitain area as "Princess Cassy". She uses her love of fairy tales and enchantment to create a show that instills an inspiring sense of awe and empowerment. Her Princess Cassy show is unique because it combines interactive elements of song, dance, and a even a little bit of magic to make for a fun, high energy experience that will leave your little prince or princess believing that dreams really do come true.
